In 1971, I asked very nicely for this bike:
I am sure I wasn't the best kid on the block, but dang, Frank Verillo got one and he was an Ass#*+^!
I am going to try a new approach. Please deliver the following items to my house or there will be no cookies, or milk and I will down load that surveillance video of what you did to my plastic reindeer (BASTARD!) to TMZ.com.

Sorry it had to come to this, but I see no other way to reconcile.

I see the "funny" is coming back! Good, very good!
Damn, you're back up before I could even comment. Funny story about that bike you asked for in 1971; I did my first long distance tour that year at age 15 and the guy I went with rode that bike. 300 miles, self-supported camping trip in five days. It was even purple!
That's a long way to go on a banana seat!
Did you post that Giant, to torture me? Usually I'm all for being a retro grouch and embracing the purple Schwinn but that Trance is stunning and I will not sleep tonight.
wow, I love hummingbirds too! And those black things with big knobs, well, I won't be going there...
the bike is cool though
