The Greatest Sin

The greatest tragedy of all is not the anguish we suffer at the hands of those we loved.
It is the hurt we cause to others of which we are totally unaware.
Those are the tears that fall with the weight of the ocean.
The tears that fall from the eyes of those that trusted us with their hearts,
only to find us careless, weak and unknowing,
of the responsibility with which we were charged.

Well if we're totally unaware, what should we do? Damn. Now I'm feeling guilty for everything I've done and know about and everything I've done and DON'T know about.

Wow, that's good.

It's scary to think about how we've most likely adversely affected some without even being aware. I hate that thought.

The worst thoughts for me are the ones I know about. Sure, I didn't know about them when I was being an A hole, but the retrospect was as you said, "the weight of the ocean".

I try to walk through life carefully but I am sure those that observe me get the bull in a china shop impression.

Thought provoking HWB.

Damn, do I owe you money? Sorry little broken dude; I thought I paid that tab.
Oh, or you finally heard what I been saying about you. Sorry about that too.
